Book Releases and More on Chapters

We have a few new editions and other books to look forward to next year. But first, there are a few new editions available today including:

The Bloomsbury Editions, reported here back in June, and known for their quirky marketting to teen readers.

Villette by Dover publications. And another edition by Oberon Books.

New editions of Shirley, and a 3 CD audio book of Jane Eyre will be available March 15th and August 1st, 2007.

Alas, Chapters, when will you believe that Charlotte Bronte did not, ever, write In Her Nature, a novel about werewolf sex. How it even got on their catalogue is baffling, but why it has stayed there... Here is original post from when it first came to our attention.

WHATEVER can you POSSIBLY mean?! Of COURSE Charlotte wrote about werewolf sex!! Who WOULDN'T want to write about hot, steamy, fur-sticking-to-you werewolf sex?!

You dare to call Chapters liars!!!

Pish! What do you know about it, little miss Cambridge scholar? I will always do my best to combat the evil empire of Chapters Indigo- unless I have no choice to buy from them (which is often the case).

Oh, and I suppose they were right too when they said the Pope's book was called 'God is Meat!'

Not sure about that pic for the cover of Villette - still, the new Penguin one is worse:

I much prefer the old one, even if the dress is a bit too jolly for Lucy Snowe:
