Another carriage scene, do you think? I am a bit concerned that Jane is wearing gloves though. Is she being dressed like a doll already? I hope it *is* Jane!
Nice kiss though. ;-)
to Liz:
It looks very misleading, and I love it ;) It makes it look like he seduces Jane and runs off with Blanche!
Such tivo-ing in Canada. Amazing effect on dreaming.
Thanks Bronteana and Penny! Such torture...it's only 19 sec compared to the 28 sec of the second and the generous 35 sec of the first.
She IS wearing gloves but I believe that she is pushing his hand away in true Jane style. It appears from this preview that Blanche is in this ep? Why??
to kayxyz:
It isn't airing in Canada, these are thanks to one of our British readers.
to chrisv:
I think they take a carriage to the church. That's my guess. And I think the Blanche shot was to imply that Rochester seduces Jane and then runs off with Miss Ingram- notice how they avoid showing the bride's face? Devious!
chrisv I was disappointed at the shorter length as well, only 19 secs! I'm really glad that YouTube made my favourite shot (Rochester leading Jane)the screenshot!
Very devious! Just who can he be (or not be) marrying? Hmmm....
Her wish to have never been born or come to Thornfield is from the proposal scene yet it doesn't seem to be in the same place in this preview since it is spoken indoors. Wonder if they migrated the line to after the halted wedding.
Oops, it is outdoors. I guess it is in the proposal scene -- goody. I guess I have to watch the preview a few hundred more times.
"It makes it look like he seduces Jane and runs off with Blanche!"
Haha! now you have got me worried. I don't *think* the changes will run that far. ;-)
What about that kiss? Looks to me like Rochester is in traveling clothes - could this be from the scene where Jane meets him on the road? Too hard to tell, the clip is so short, but here's hoping, as that is one of my favorite moments.
to liz:
This is Sandy Welch not John Sutherland, I think we're safe. ;) I can't believe that he argued that Rochester was waiting for Blanche to come to him at Ferndean!
to anonymous:
That would be wonderful. It does look like they are having as many shots of him riding around as they possibly can. Anytime there's an extra few seconds he's off on another ride. That would definately make me a happy Bronte scholar!
Jane's hair is very sinous indeed;)
Wow - on the first shot, I thought Jane was kisiing a mustached fellow. The light hit Rochester's mouth in such a way... or rather, the shadow hit it...
LOL...
